01
The permit

What it actually is.

A dependent-status permit for children under eighteen and other eligible family members of a KITAS or KITAP holder. Runs for the same term as the primary permit and renews alongside it. It is the route that keeps a family together on one immigration footprint. Children can enrol in school, spouses join under their own E31B, and the paperwork stays in sync with the primary holder’s cycle.

Built for

Children under 18 of a Working KITAS, Golden Visa, or Second Home Visa holder

Adopted or step-children eligible under Indonesian family definitions

Other qualifying family members named in the primary application

02
Scope

Where the line sits.

It lets you

Live in Indonesia for the duration of the primary permit, renewing alongside it

Enrol in Indonesian schools, including international schools that require a KITAS

Enter and exit multiple times without secondary approval

It does not let you

Continue on the permit past the child’s eighteenth birthday. A different route is needed at that point

Work, invoice, or run a business in Indonesia. Employment requires a separately sponsored permit

Remain in status if the primary permit is cancelled or lapses. Dependent status follows the sponsor’s status

03
Start to finish

What you bring, what we handle.

What we handle
1

Confirm eligibility

Verify each dependent’s relationship, age, and status, and check the primary permit is eligible to sponsor them.

2

Prepare and file

Assemble the family documents, translations, and applications, submit through the immigration portal.

3

Arrival and biometrics

Coordinate arrival formalities and address registration for each dependent.

4

Synchronise and renew

Track the primary permit’s expiry so all family permits renew together and none lapses.

Other routes

If this isn't the one.

Spouse KITAS (E31B)

The parallel route for a spouse joining the same primary holder.

Working KITAS (E23/E25)

For an adult family member who reaches an age needing their own work-permitted status.

Bridging Visa

For converting a family member already here without leaving Indonesia.
