The permit

What it actually is.

The lightest-weight visa in the Indonesian system. Thirty days on arrival, extendable once to sixty from within Indonesia. Available on arrival at major airports and seaports for eligible nationalities, or online in advance as an e-VoA. Built for tourism, family visits, and light business activity such as attending a meeting or conference. Not for work, not for repeat travel, and not for stays longer than sixty days.

Built for

Tourists visiting Indonesia for holiday, culture, or family

Business travellers attending a single meeting or conference

First-time visitors testing the country before deeper commitment

02
Scope

Where the line sits.

It lets you

Enter Indonesia at major airports and seaports for nationals of eligible countries

Stay up to thirty days, extendable once to sixty from within Indonesia

Attend meetings, conferences, or family gatherings during the visit

It does not let you

Work, invoice, or take any employment during the stay

Re-enter Indonesia on the same visa after departing. Each entry uses a fresh VoA or e-VoA

Extend past the sixty-day cap. Longer stays need a different visa type arranged from outside

03
Start to finish

What you bring, what we handle.

What you bring

Passport valid for at least 6 months

3

Arrival support

Clarify what to expect at the entry point and any documentation you may be asked for.

4

Extension filing

File the in-country extension before the initial thirty days lapse, extending your stay to sixty.

Working KITAS (E23/E25)

When the trip becomes actual employment and residency.
